This is Mike cleaning up some of the smaller bits of plaster.
Mike again...There was A LOT of plaster and dust everywhere! Things still aren't dust free yet.

Danielle and I were gone thrifting one day and the guys were left on their own to finish this. We were kind of worried, but they did a really good job!
The wiring that Dad did. It was originally on the left side of the door in the wall. There are 3 switches now. 1 is for the light that is in the picture. (which by the way is going!) 1 is for an outside light Dad is installing for us. 1 is for something, but we aren't sure yet. There was no light outside our house, that is why Dad is running wire for one. So the light switches we had originally was only for the light (in the pic) and we weren't sure what the second one did. We will figure it out sometime soon.
Sorry about the mess, but you can tell from this picture that removing those walls really opened up this small space. It's brighter and bigger now. It isn't a really good angle of the room because it doesn't really do it justice, but I will get another one sometime soon.

that's a lot of work. i know exactly the taste that plaster dust leaves in your mouth after a day of renovations.
yuck.
Renovations are a perfect example of something that has to look worse before it looks better. It will be lovely once it's done. Lucky you've got a dad who really knows how to do the electrical stuff. My dad did lots of that for us too!
Home reno's are always exciting. We are getting our basement fixed up right now.
